To launch Melo's first new shoe in his new home of New York, we created an epic live event on the Hudson River's Pier 54.
We drew a crowd of over 2,500 for a live performance by NYC rapper Nas, and then surprised them with a helicopter flyby, rappelling Melo stunt double and a 50-foot-tall water projection show.
After the three-story Melo hologram dribbled and dunked on water, ultimately bringing down the pier thanks to 3D-mapping projections, real-life Melo appeared in the flesh on stage and invited guests to play an interactive "Explode-A-Shot" arcade game for autographed prizes, where every made bucket affected the 3D-mapping projections on the pier.
